Greg Wade

B.A. Dip. Ed.

Gregory has been a teacher for over 30 years. In that time he has taught Mathematics in both comprehensive high schools and small central schools. Gregory taught at Farrer in the 1990s, during which time he was a resident teacher and a year advisor. Gregory returned to Farrer in 2014 to take up the role of Head Teacher Mathematics, a position he had previously held at Kadina High School and Barraba Central School.

Gregory’s main educational interest is exploring the role that mathematics has in helping people develop thinking skills. He also has an interest in how technology can be used to assist in the development of these thinking skills.

Gregory has been involved in clay target shooting for the last 10 years and is a qualified trap shooting coach. He currently manages the shooting program at Farrer.
