1.3 Other Absences
1.3.1 Arriving Late
Students arriving late to school are to report to the Admin Office. For Students with Permission
to Drive,
arriving late requires a note from the parent/carer.
Students late for class must, where applicable, bring a note from the staff member who delayed them.
1.3.2 Absence from Class
Students out of class should have a note from their Teacher.
1.3.3 Leaving Early or During the Day
Students needing to leave early or during the school day must sign out at the Admin office. If they are missing class, student’s must have a permission note from their parents and approval from the Deputy Principal Day. Senior boarding students must sign out from the Duty Office.
Year 12 Students who do not have any scheduled classes after lunch may, with permisison, sign out at Admin.
Any student who wishes to sign out before 3:15pm and will miss timetabled classes, must provide Admin with a note signed from their parent/guardian.
During the Year 11 Yearly and Trial HSC Exams, students with Permission to Drive may sign out and drive home provided they do not have an exam.
1.3.4 Boarding Students
Any absence of boarding students during the day must be approved by the Deputy Principal Residential.
