Years 10-12 surveying industry day

Years 10-12 attended a surveying industry day, where they participated in three hands-on activities of GPS, peg out /shed set activity and contour topography with grid books. The students were able to speak to surveyors from across Tamworth to find out their own experiences, pathways and work within the surveying industry. The day ended with a drone display with a drone and a plane.

For some students, this helped expose them to another career opportunity prior to subjection selection next term and for other students, it cemented their post school goals of studying and pursuing a career in surveying.
