Year 12 students selected in the Pacific Nomad Rugby 7's.
Congratulations to Farrer Year 12 students Harry Irvine and Cooper Sheridan on their selection in the Pacific Nomad Rugby 7's.
Harry Irvine, Captain of Farrer First XV was described by Pacific Nomads as "Hailing from Narromine in western NSW, Harry attended boarding school at Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School and has quickly made a name for himself on the rugby field.
Described as an old-time backrower in a young person's body, Harry is an absolute pest at the ruck. His ability to disturb opposition ball and his high pilfer rate make him invaluable to any team. A natural leader who leads by example, Harry gained the captaincy of the U18s Central North Junior Rugby Union Rep team this year.
Welcome Harry, we cannot wait to see you take on the world of sevens rugby!"
Cooper Sheridan was also mentioned:
"Hailing from Bourke in the outback of NSW, Cooper is currently a boarder at Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School, where he's
developed into a formidable dual-threat player capable of excelling in both the backs and forwards.
This year, Cooper has been showcasing his versatility and talent as an inside centre for Central North Junior Rugby Union U18s and earning a selection as a No.8 for NSW Country Rugby Union U18s. A no-nonsense country boy, Cooper loves to chase pigs, run over opponents on the field, and deliver big hits.
We can't wait to see Cooper in action over in New Zealand. His strength, dedication, and passion for the game will be a tremendous asset to our team. Let's give him a warm welcome!"
Harry and Cooper will play with Pacific Nomads Rugby 7's in December this year!
