Year 10 Science and Engineering challenge
A group of our talented Year 10 students recently travelled to Newcastle for the Science and Engineering Challenge, where they showcased their STEM skills in a range of exciting activities. Competing against several schools, the team performed exceptionally well, earning a 4th-place ranking for the day.
From designing and building sturdy bridges to creating innovative fish traps, the students took on various challenges that tested their problem-solving and design thinking abilities. They also harnessed renewable energy with wind turbines and demonstrated efficient task management in the "Job Juggle" challenge.
Their hard work, creativity, and teamwork shone through, and we’re incredibly proud of their 4th-place achievement, reflecting their growing expertise and enthusiasm for Science and Engineering!
