World High School Rodeo Finals

Will Clarke and Eddie Maxwell have returned home from the World High School Rodeo after representing the Australian High School Team. Featuring over 2000 contestants from 43 U.S States, Canada, Australia, Mexico and Brazil, it is the World's largest High School Rodeo event.

In addition to competing for more than $80,000 in prizes, contestants were also competing for more than $200,000 in college scholarships and the chance to be named World Champion.

Will competed in the World High School Rodeo Junior Division Finals in Des Moines, Iowa. Will qualified for the Junior Bull Ride and Saddle Steer events. Will finished 22nd in the Saddle Steer ride out of 150 contestants and was unfortunately bucked off his junior Bull ride. Will had an amazing time and made lots of memories. To cap off an unforgettable trip, Will was named Flag Bearer for the Australian team!

Eddie competed in the World High School Rodeo Senior Division Finals in Rock Springs, Wyoming. Eddie qualified 2nd for Australia in the Bronc ride. Eddie rode extremely well in Wyoming and battled it out against 120 of the World's best. Whilst in Rock Springs he met the current World Champion, gained some valuable experience and learnt a lot.

Both Will and Eddie represented Farrer with pride, competing with great sportsmanship and competitiveness.
