VEX IQ Robotics Competition Tournament Round 2!
On the 20th of October, 8 Farrer teams competed against a strong contingent of teams from across NSW in the VEX Robotics Competition “Full Volume”. The game this season is scoring blocks in goals, parking your robot and clearing the supply zone.
After 68 qualification matches, all eight Farrer teams qualified for the finals with 2340F The Sow-perior Machinists, 2340J The Boar-derline Geniuses, 2340B Sir Isaac Bacon and 2340G The Oink-credibles being in the top 10.
After a hard fought finals series, 2340F The Sow-perior Machinists allied with 4613R Barker Demons for the teamwork challenge, finishing second overall. 2340H The Swine-ntific Engineers were recognised by the Judges for their effort and perseverance across the event, winning the Judges Award. Nick Page was also acknowledged for his efforts after the event by all the coaches at the event, winning the Volunteer award.
Thank you to all the visiting teams from Tamworth Regional Library, Barker College, Magikids Academy Sydney. We wish all our friends the best of luck for the NSW state championships on the 5th of November.
