UNE Oorala experience day
Six students from our Class of 2025 cohort recently attended the Oorala Experience Day at UNE, with a special focus on the Health faculty. Their day began in the Psychology department, where they explored Virtual Reality and tried out electroencephalogram (EEG) tests to measure brain activity. Next, they moved on to the Chemistry labs to conduct an experiment in making aspirin.
After lunch, the students engaged with the Nursing department, practicing CPR, testing their hand-washing skills, and using stethoscopes. The day wrapped up with a session in Pharmacy, where they made their own lotion and created Webster Packs using lollies.
The experience was highly interactive and engaging. Thank you to UNE and the Oorala Centre for hosting this incredible day!
