Surf Rescue Training and Farm Life Adventure
A new group of students, alongside six returning participants, took part in Part 1 of the 2024/25 Bush to Beach Program at Farrer before the
end of last year.
The rookies and instructors from Copacabana Surf Life Saving Club Inc spent the weekend at Farrer, immersing themselves in farm
life—feeding calves, milking cows, dining in the refectory, and taking part in evening activities. The Farrer boys completed the theory
component of their Surf Rescue Certificate, along with practical training in CPR and surf rescue signals.
In Week 7 of Term 1, we'll head to Copacabana to complete the Surf Rescue Certificate and experience a weekend as Copacabana Nippers.
