NSW COMBINED HIGH SCHOOL SPORT ASSOCIATION BLUES AWARD

Last week Charlie Whale (Year 11) and Jacob Martin attended the NSW Combined High School Sports Association 2024 Blues Presentation Ceremony at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Both boys had the honour of being awarded the New South Wales Combined High Schools Sports Association Blues Sporting Award .

Charlie lead the North West team to a gold medal at the NSWCHSSA Basketball Championships and was selected in the NSW All Schools Merit Team.

Jacob was selected in the NSW All Schools Bowls team, winning a gold medal at the School Sport Australia Championship, gaining further selection in the All Australian Bowls team.

The NSWCHSSA Blues Award is the highest honour a student can achieve in school sports within New South Wales public schools. It is awarded to students who have “excelled on the sporting field, have displayed outstanding sportsmanship and have made great contributions to their school and sporting communities”.
