Men's Health Week
The Student Wellbeing Committee celebrated Men's Health Week today at assembly with a talk by school captain Iva Haling. Iva spoke of the
challenges that can come along with both physical and mental health for men and that sometimes men think that they always have to be stoic
and resilient and that this means not asking for help when they need it.
If you're doing what you can, but still feel like you’re struggling, it could be time to look for some professional support. Most mental
illness can be effectively treated or managed, so if you have a problem and seek help, there's a good chance that your condition will
improve.
Support is available at school, but also look out for your mates and talk to them about how you are feeling.Celebrating men and their
improving health, with cake at recess.
