Farrer Students Exploring Stem
During the school holidays, Farrer Year 12 student Jesse Giles joined some of the brightest young minds across the country at the 40th National Youth Science Forum (NYSF) Year 12 Program.
Over 500 students from all around Australia spend a week at the University of Canberra exploring facilities, opportunities and tertiary pathways in STEM.
Jesse recalled a few highlights which include interactive session with robots and rovers, meeting new friends and learning about University opportunities after HSC.
It was a great experience for Jesse and all made possible with thanks to the NYSF remote student grant and Rotary club!
