Farrer Photography Competition 2024 ‘Farrer in Focus’

This year’s esteemed Farrer Photography Competition saw our creative finalists respond to the theme of ‘Farrer in Focus’. 2024 marks 85 years of Farrer and students were thereby asked to hone in on some of the elements of Farrer that makes it stand out as a school to them. The resulting visual interpretations saw a wide variety of aspects of our school captured by the lens. Congratulations to all finalists, particularly this year’s prize winners; Highly Commended: William Vidler ‘A Northcott Sunset’ and Oscar Kelly ‘Goals’ People’s Choice Runner-Up: Lachlan Woods ‘Gilly’ People’s Choice Winner: Brodie Nichols ‘Red Sky’ Photography Prize Runner-Up: Liam Marsh ‘The Dairy’ Photography Prize Winner: Bayley Cork ‘Talent’ Congratulations also to our staff entrants, especially Mr Josh Vigar taking out the People’s Choice award in that category with his photograph ‘Sunset at Brewongle’. ~ Mrs Rebekah O'Neill
