Everingham Solomans University Opportunity
Each year, Everingham Solomons offers a Tamworth, Gunnedah, Manilla or Quirindi Year 12 student wishing to undertake university study in law
the opportunity to receive a Bursary funded by the firm.
The Sir Adrian Solomons Memorial Law Bursary was first granted in 1998. It provides financial assistance for the successful applicant during
their first year as well as an opportunity to gain valuable work experience in their offices periodically throughout the duration of their
studies.
We congratulate recently graduated student, Forbes Murdoch, who was one of the two recipients of this bursary.
To make the occasion even more special, Forbes was presented with this award by Everingham Solomons Director Clint Coles, a Farrer old boy
who himself received the same honour in 2005. While Farrer Legal Studies teacher Jarrad Smith, a 2004 bursary recipient, attended the
ceremony to celebrate Forbes’ achievement.
Congratulations to Forbes! We wish him all the best with his University studies.
