It was a busy Term 2 for Year 9 student Max Burr. Max competed in four Eisteddfod’s across the North West including his own Studio Mid Year Competition.

At each event Max performed 7x solo pieces in various genres including improvisation and a duo piece with his duo partner. Max achieved 18x 1st places, 14x 2nd places, 10x 3rd places and 3 x Highly Commended awards overall.

Max was awarded the “Senior Dance Encouragement” award from the Narrabri Eisteddfod and one of the adjudicators “Scholarship Dance Awards” from the Inverell Eisteddfod. Max also finished the season being awarded Runner Up Senior Champion at his own Studio competition.
