Charles Sturt University Social Justice Workshop

Farrer students Patrick Belt and Kurt Sharpe recently attended the Charles Sturt University Social Justice Workshop at Carinya Christian School.

The event brought together students from various schools to explore CSU’s offerings and campus information from Port Macquarie, Wagga Wagga, Dubbo and Bathurst. Local social workers and CSU students shared their experiences and insights into the Bachelor of Social Work program.

Participants then broke into groups for a hands-on workshop, where they developed initiatives addressing local social justice issues. Patrick and Kurt presented their project focusing on financial challenges faced by youth pursuing tertiary education.
