Busy Week For Farrer Boys
What a busy and exciting week it’s been at Farrer! Our followers have already seen highlights from our Open Day and the incredible progress on the World’s Greatest Shave, but there’s even more to celebrate!
Dairy Cattle Junior Judging
Eleven enthusiastic Year 7 & 8 students had an amazing experience at Wilson’s Dairy, honing their skills in assessing and describing
dairy cattle. This is a fantastic hands-on experience for these students. A huge thank you to the Wilson family for sharing their time and
expertise!
Basketball Success
Our First V basketball team has advanced to Round 2 of the CHS Open Men’s Basketball Gala Day in Tamworth on Feb 20! They secured strong
victories against McIntyre High School and a combined Boggabilla/Warialda team—well done, boys!
Student Achievements
Congratulations to Farrer students Teddy Hampton, Archie Clark, Orlando York and Charlie Ward on receiving the @healthwiseorgau Active
Champions Fund Scholarship! This incredible opportunity supports rural athletes on their journey to the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and
Paralympic Games.
Farrer students Gus Barwick and Archie Clarke, along with former student Jack Marshall, proudly represented New South Wales at the U18 Indoor Hockey Nationals in Canberra!
What an incredible week full of achievements, learning, and school spirit!
