Bush To Beach

Students travelled to Copacabana this weekend to complete their Bush To Beach Surf Rescue Certificate.

The boys practiced their tube and board rescues, learnt how lifeguards communicate over the two-way radios, had a refresher on surf signals and participated in Copacabana Nippers last twilight nippers of the season.

A huge thank you to Kelly, Ash, Ben, DJ, Gai, Chris and all the team at Copacabana Surf Life Saving Club Inc for hosting us this weekend. The boys have loved this program and learnt so much. A weekend away they will talk about for years.
