13 Year 9 and 10 Farrer students compete in a Rugby 7’s tournament

A group of 13 Year 9 and 10 Farrer students recently travelled to Armidale to compete in a Rugby 7’s tournament, facing off against five other teams. Farrer dominated their matches, winning their first game 35-10 against a combined schools team, then securing a 45-7 victory over Warialda. In the semi-final, they outdid O’Connor School with a 70-0 win, and clinched the final 40-0 against Holy Trinity Inverell in very muddy conditions. Their outstanding performance has earned them a spot to represent the school at the state championships in Sydney.  ~ Mr Royce Carroll
