Boarding Fees
Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School is a public school, and therefore tuition, other than for elective subjects and excursions, is provided at no cost to parents.
Boarding Fees are set by the Minister for Education each year. Fee increases have been avoided since 2019 as a measure to assist families affected by drought, bush-fires, floods and then Covid-19. However, given that the CPI for 2023 was 7.9% for 2024 fees will increase by a modest 3.0%, taking them to;
- $3,315 per term over 4 terms for Years 7 to 11 ($13,260 per annum)
- $4,420 per term over 3 terms for Year 12 ($13,260 per annum)
The fees for 2025 have been set by the Minister at;
- $3,440 per term over 4 terms for Years 7 to 11 ($13,760 per annum)
- $4,588 per term over 3 terms for Year 12 ($13,764 per annum)
A Security Bond, as stated in the Residential Student Agreement and section
7.5.1 of the School Manual, is
required for new boarding students, which can be used to cover unpaid damages charges or boarding fees. The Bond is $1,000 and is
refundable when the student leaves - less any unpaid fees or damages.
Boarding applicants accepting an early admission offer, per section 7.5.4 of the School Manual, will be required to make a prepayment of $1500.00 towards their first term boarding fees.
