Tristan Jones
Head Teacher Junior Welfare / PDHPE
After commencing a career in Sports Marketing and management, Tristan was a late starter in education, returning to Southern Cross University 7 years after graduating previously to complete his Bachelor of Secondary Education with PDHPE major.
Tristan’s time at Farrer started as the Sport and Recreation Officer for 2 years. He was then employed in another local public high school before attaining the Head Teacher Wellbeing position at Farrer in 2015.
Tristan has a passion for all sports and outdoor activities, however football is his main passion coaching local, school, regional and state teams. He believes that being active is extremely important to an individuals well-being and due to this has commenced the sports coaching subject as an elective in stage 5.
Along with the other Head Teacher Well being, he has an active role in the Well being of all students, running numerous programs and camps
each year. Tristan hopes that all students will leave farrer with a positive outlook on life enabling them to be successful.
