Luke Maloy

An experienced educator in the key learning area of Human Society and its Environment, Luke has over 25 years of experience within the Public School sector. Luke has worked at a variety of schools ranging from small central schools through to large comprehensive high schools with over 1,000 students. He also taught in the UK for a year on a teacher exchange. 

Luke arrived at Farrer in 2009 as the Head Teacher of HSIE and has a passion for teaching Commerce and Economics. Luke began his role of Deputy Principal of the Day School at Farrer in 2021 and brings to the position proactive and strong leadership skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with staff, parents and students.

Outside of school Luke enjoys renovating property, spending time with family, traveling as well as hiking and camping in the great outdoors.
