Delivering additional and upgraded boarding accommodation and new industrial technology facilities
The Department of Education (DoE) is planning a major capital works upgrade at the Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School. This project will provide new and upgraded boarding accommodation, as well as new industrial technology facilities.
April 2017 update
The project team has continued to incorporate feedback from various stakeholders to refine the Schematic Design, which has now been finalised and endorsed by the Project Reference Group (PRG). The next stage of the design is the Detailed Design phase which includes specific room details, service locations and finalisation of colour schemes.
The project team recently held a community consultation session in the main street of Tamworth. Thank you to all people who stopped by to view the designs and video presentation. Information presented at the booth will be available for viewing in the school’s administration foyer including the 3D fly through.
The next consultation session is planned to be held at the school, prior to the parent teacher meetings on 29th June 2017. In addition, concept plans and an artist’s impression of the new technology building have been uploaded to the school website for review and comment. Your comments and feedback are valued and can be submitted via the following link. All responses are completely anonymous:
